At the age of thirteen, Roger went from a novice table tennis player to a leading school team member in a remarkable three months. He represented his school in singing competitions, winning several awards for his talent. Within two years of his first windsurfing experience he became a certified instructor and started his own windsurfing school. At the age of 23, Roger graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s degree in civil engineering; and by the age of 29 he was promoted to a senior engineer in Hong Kong’s largest consulting engineering firm, an organization of over 1000 staff.
Equipped with ten years of civil / geotechnical engineering experience in Hong Kong and Vancouver, and after obtaining chartered / professional engineer status in several countries (including British Columbia), Roger pursued another career path in 1991.
As a real estate professional, Roger has become the number one agent in his Realty World office within three years since he started selling real estate in 1991, and is one of the organization’s top producers nationwide. With this effort, Roger has also earned the distinction of being a Master Member of the prestigious Medallion Club, which represents an elite group of Realtors in Greater Vancouver.
